Check out this guy's plenum after a nitrous mishap on his ZR1

He was racing his ZR1 going well over the speed limit and was using a wet nitrous sytem. He said he saw a fireball come from under the hood and then heard a loud bang. This is what happened:

I feel sorry for that guy
Ive seen just as bad at the track though, Once a guy was running NOS on a chevell hit the button and pop pop boom as the carb flew up into the hood fiber glass hood shatered.

I went and read that post on the vette board and I guess he was running a wet system and had a small backfire through the plenum that ignited the NO2. All that at excess of 170 That would scare the **** out of me.
