that is said to be your "max safe limit" for a stock 350 that has no problems be sure it is a wet kit.
i've heard the key to nitro is not to not use more than half your HP in a shot of nitrous. exmaple if you have 300 HP you shouldn't use more than a 150HP shot. unless your engine was built to handle nitro (new cam, forged pistons,etc.).

3000 gt is right I just remembered that a "stock" gm chevy 350 could safely handle 150 shot I suppose That is a super genaric term (stock chevy 350) being gm makes so many differant ones. nos is just like adding perf. mods say if you ad a cam intake heads ect. you get 200 hp. it would do the same damage as 200 hp of nos. being both are set up right. a lot of nos users run lean and that when you hear them say they melted there pistions and such.
