oh yeah buddy of mine in Brooklyn is going for 9's in his 89 GTA...he dropped a GN engine in..forget what size turbo though...TH400 tranny Strange 12 bolt rear...running 27#'s of boost at the track its almost done..i can't wait!

 

well..I've posted a topic just like this..it seemed that people say the TTA and firehawk are some of the fastest thirdgens ever built

A Turbo Trans Am was the fastest 3rd gen I seen

 

There's a guy in Pa. that has a twin turbo TTA, still street legal that has run 8.20's or better @167 mph. He should be at E-town this coming weekend.

A friend of mine went to the strip las Sat. and said there was a 91 going in the 8's. I wasn't there so I don't know what was in it.
