Ok I got a 91 RS with a stock 305. I am wanting to put a 383 in it once I get a job and save some cash(applying for a job Monday) I honestly want to go with a carb setup, since a TB off the 305 will choke the 383, and decent FI setups like MiniRam, SuperRam, Ramjet, etc cost a small fortune. How tough will it be to switch from TBI to carb? Will it mess up the computer or what? I am VERY inexperienced with computers in cars. I know I will have to get my tranny bulletproofed, get a stronger rear end(probably get a 12 bolt, with 3.42's) and subframe connectors. So back to the question, how tough will it be to go from TBI to carb? What do I need to do, if anything, to the computer or whatnot?
