me vs 95 mustang gt modded

ok I have a 89 Iroc z with a 350 TPI. I got my engine rebuilt with boring it out .030 with forged pistons and crank, but everything else is stock. The only thing I did to heads was get them milled down and a valve job. So far I have about 3000 miles on the engine. Ok well a friend of mine has a 95 gt (302) with mac cold air intake, exuast cut off before axle, msd 6a box thing, and cobra rims and sometires. Well I was wondering if I had a chance.

Well, I think you'll beat him, by at least a few car lengths. You're probably runnin low to mid 14s, and he's runnin high 14's if he's LUCKY.

This guy is one of the many Mustang owners that give us a bad name. They have slow cars and claim they smoked something three times as fast as them. I have enough brains to know that my AOD equipped 5.0 would never beat an SS or a Cobra. I think that you should not only race this guy, but you should take his money too.

That guy is obvisouly a liar, no way he beat an SS. Unless the SS smoked thru all the gears. The Mustang is probably running mid-high 14's, I would think you could take him.

I've seen races between a 350 TPI and a GT and every time (that i have seen) the TPI has won by a couple of car lengths, depending on how long he keeps trying. Even with his mod's i don't think you'll have any trouble. So go score one for the good guys. j/k all u mustang guys.

alright well I do what I can, but now here this. He has a auto like I said but he shifts it manualy ALL the time. Doesnt have a manual valve body now. Well now his transmission is slipping. Its his fault but now he wont race me til he gets a new radiator and he says he is putting in a 5 speed. Do I still stand a chance.
