What tires fit?

Since I got my 4.10s I wanna put taller and wider tires on the back. I'm debating between 255/50/16 or 265/50/16. Will 265 go on with no problem? What is the hight of 255 and/or 265?
Thanks in advance, guys

You probably don't want more than 255's on 16x8 rims... 255/45/16 is probably closest to what you want... depends on the size you ran stock... GTA's came with 245/50/16's if I remember correctly.... so yeah, 255/45 would match that well...

Well, I slapped on BFGoodrich 265/50/16 and I have to say it's much better as far as traction. Still, with 4.10s, I'm gonna go with slick radials, for the track.
The taller, wider 265s fit well with room to spare. Only an inch taller and an inch wider. Didn't change the car's stance. Now the tire hight is 26.4 inches so I reduced the 4.10 ratio a little.
