Nitrous with a blower

Hiya guys,
Could one run a blower with nitrous on a Pontiac 400 and still be able to drive it? WHat would the compression have to be?
Also, a while back there was a movie with a GTO in it that could disengage his blower, and re-engage it, all from within the Car. Can this be done in real life?

Mad max also had a blower he could disengage... I'd think it would become a parasitic loss of Hp if it is disengaged, but I'm sure it is possible and could save you gas.

yeah thats mad max, you cant turn off the blower, the car wouldnt run yes you can run a blower and NOS on the engine, but it is very $$$$$ your compression would need to be in the 7:1 to 7.5:1 area to run both, a pair of 6H heads would be a good choice, they are a 74-76 455 head and people pretty much just give them away as there low compression heads, but have factory 2.11 1.77 valves guide plates and screw in studs so they flow good and are strong but also you can get cheap and get the compression low.
