Lq4 vs older skyline and accord?
I rarely get any action for races when Im cruising along day to day and I usually have my camera mounted just in case I do.So last night I get an invite for a decent bootycall.Hop in the car and away I went to fulfill my duty lol.As Im just sit back and enjoying my drive with very little traffic around 8:30pm the sun has just about set and Im going 120kmh.
I glanced up at the rearview as I noticed something odd behind me.A nissan 240 with no lights on was pretty much about to be right on my bumper..followed by an older skyline right hand drive behind him with bright hids."Oh here we go" I thought to myself as I prepped myself up in the seat..turned the stereo down and reached for the shifter.I was in the far left lane...within this few seconds of me seeing them in my mirror..the skyline pulls onto the shoulder and begins to pull up.I downshifted to 4th..shouldve grabbed 3rd..but anyways hammered down and off we went.He cut behind me and switched over the the next lane..gaining upto the door.Lugging on I held 4th all the way till I hit the limiter at 6600rpm(speedo maxed out at 120mph) By that time I had inched him by almost a fender as he shut down. That was too close..as we were cooling down..we swapped lanes so i could try to see the driver, rolled the windows down and he gave a big thumbs up and i returned one aswell. As the 240 caught back up and I could see the cars better I noticed they were drifters..gutted cars..lots of suspension mods..not heavy on power..the skyline didnt sound heavily boosted either. They waved me on and I gave another 4th gear pull.
Out of no where so douche in a red accord is on my case..pulling beside me and then flyby, repeatedly revving next to me.I payed no mind to him and slowed right down to 80kmh and so did he..so i thought..ok he wants a lil taste too but its not worth my time.I was going to honk it off but then he starts pulling away again.Aggrivated I just returned a flyby passed him and cut infront. That ended his parade but on a side note..I made it to my bootycall extra early lol
Small clip of the cars..wish I couldve caught the skyline racing up the shoulder:

those were my friends and that skyline is BOOOOOOOSTED cummins diesel turbo in it (gauge read 22psi at rev limiter), went for a ride in it at the track and its wicked fast, your car must pull hard!

That skyline was no cummins diesel I can tell you that for sure.Sounded like a slightly worked car..wasnt heavily boosted or he would have raped me on the highway. My car used to pull well. But now its dead in my driveway needing to be transfered to another rolling chassis.

He said it was a cummins turbo. Maybe a holset H1E? Nice budget upgrade and loaded in the scrap yards.

I can see from this and other videos of yours, that you'r one of the major reasons that we now have the stunt driving laws in Ontario.
I hope you get nailed for it soon.

Re: Lq4 vs older skyline and accord?
Lol right ..because I only posted videos when I get on the car makes you think I drive like that all the time?Try that sob story somewhere else..especially not in the theoretical and street racing forum. If I made videos of me driving normally everyday would be extremely boring to watch, and I wasnt the person pulling onto the shoulder to try and race a transam like the younger guy driving the skyline while I was cruising along the highway. And I take my car to the track often.
Hmm 2 videos of a 1-2 shift,1 track day vid,2 vids on the highway,1 burnout video, couple dyno vids and the rest are startups of previous motors...wow I must be just tearing up the streets in my 30's stunting so hardcore.
Thank you jayhawk..despite only what you see in some of my vids..majority of driving time I really dont beat on the car..so much to the point I regulary drive my 62yr old mother to work 6am in the same car very smoothly. At the track is where I really let her rip and will continue doing so when I make this new car even better.

okay, that skyline was my buddy i talked to him and his car runs 26PSI normally and runs between 400-500HP depending on the boost, i went for a ride in it and at 120kmh it broke loose :P needless to say it was ironic i found that video on here lol
