new to the area

i'm new to the area...recently became a member to UMD, so im in college park, md. Where are some spots around here where people meet up and run their cars?

where im from on fri and sat nights we would meet in a parking lot (on a summer night about 200 cars) and then go out to the straight roads in the business district and run 1/4 mile drags. Anything like that happen around here?

Re: new to the area

You can get on 270 north, get off on 70 toward hagerstown, get off on 66 towards boonsboro, take a left at the light and you'll see a sign shortly after on your right. Turn in there and talk to the person blocking the road.

These guys charge you to even get in though. They're very organized and publicly put out when they're having public runs or private runs.

Alternatively there are functions in Monrovia, Md, and Budds Creek, MD
