Lady in the Night

What’s up guys I'm new to posting on here by I've been lurking for a while. I have a 1985 Firebird SE with a carb. 350 (swapped) and a couple nights ago my buddy and I were coming back from Wing Stop. I was strolling along doing a cool 40 when I hear a low but hearty rumble. Now, my car sounds pretty nice but is by no means as loud as what I heard. Suddenly I see a 4th gen Camaro pulling up on me, in a way that just said race me. I had no choice, I pushed the gas and to my surprise I left it behind by about two car lengths. At the light we meet up again, side by side, and what do I see? A pretty girl giving me the thumbs up. Nothing serious all fun.
(My car has no mods except for the 350)

Re: Lady in the Night

4th gen couldn't have had a cool rumble cause a bone stock ls1 with a monkey driving it would blow a stock 350's doors off

Re: Lady in the Night

Got a story like that too lol. when I first got my 350 going, I was driving around and had this mid 80s 'vette pull up next to me revving it's engine. great race, so when we get to the next light I roll down the window to chat with the guy for a sec. Well my jaw dropped when some pretty blonde bout the same age as me rolls down the vette windows. Chatted for a sec and took off again. Gotta love when women actually know how to drive. it's rare enough haha.

A V6 with a nicer sound than a carbed 350? I must not have grown up in Tokyo.

Re: Lady in the Night

PLenty of women out there that like cars and race.

Theres a 50 something yr old woman out here that has a worked over AMG Mer with a TT V12. She goes out of her way to pick off races and dusts pretty much everything she comes across.

She tried me from an 80 mph roll in my ZR1 I may as well thrown it in reverse.
That car was unreal

Re: Lady in the Night

My friend in Columbus is a chick, and she'll kick your *** (and most of us here) in a street race ANY DAY lol. She has a 2012 stang 5.0 premium 6 spd., an 11 second GN, and a 10 second 4th gen bird lol.
