How does the ford 5.0 fare?

I am really wondering the specs and potential of these so called 5.0's. LOL. But seriously, who would win. A 305 TPI 5-speed or a Mustang 5.0 5-speed?? Wouldn't the ford win because of weight differences? I was just wondering, because I barely pulled on this 5.0 at Rankin tonight, and he said he was stock??? I gave him a thumbs up though. Hell! We raced 3 or 4 times!

Does your LB9 have dual cats? Theres a guy at my local track with a 1991 Dual cat LB9 5-Speed and he wipes Mustangs. His is a ex-state car with 123,000 miles with K&N and a different muffler. The 230hp dual cat lb9 5-Speed stock to stock will beat the Musang, but it is close enough that a bad start or a bad driver will lose the race.

Well, if ya'll didn't know, my car is a 350 TBI...But I actually didn't beat him the first time. We raced on goodnight rd. and he barely best. So I pulled him over and said, "Hey, do you wanna race again?" And he was like ok! And followed me to the gas station. We were both curious about each others cars. But I filled it up half-way with super, since I had regular. And took out about 200 lbs. (My girlfriend, my tool set, a hydraulic jack, and all my textbooks) I was like, it's going to be different this time Biatch!!!

I'm really wondering...

Why is it such a big deal which car is faster stock? Who keeps their car stock anyway?

Well me finding this out means that one has a better power to weight ratio then the other. And I want it to be GM's 5.0

I don't mean to start a war when I say this, but a 5.0L LX 5-spd Mustang will outrun a 5.0L 5-spd Camaro. Sorry to say it, you guys know I am unbiased, but that is my answer to the post.
