This is semi-thirdgen related but I'll get that in a second. My friend called me last night telling me he just got this Duster back from his mechanic. He had a rearend a nd gears put on. Right now he's running a 425 Approx. hp 360 and now he's got a posi rear w/ 3.91 gears. So we went to the local cruise looking for races. After cruising around for awhile this woman in a 70's Stingray tries to race him, she started going then all of a sudden we put about 5 carlengths on her, next we pulled up to an 87 Camaro, did about the same thing to him, we talked to him later and found out that he had a built 355 but he still couldn't keep up. Then we took out a couple of Civics, one was some guy trying to impress his girl, the other was a couple of chicks. You shoulda seen the look on her face the Duster reved up and took off! We tried to get this guy in A Buick GS but we could never find him. Man, I can't wait till my car is done so I'll have some stories like this.
