im not new to the site i just read them and laugh at some of the that some of u talk lol but for real does anyone have a 305 that doesnt run low to mid 14s on this site my buddy has a 89 mustang gt all it has is underdrives a flowmaster cat back and 1.7 roller rockers and a k/n and my 305 rs 89 camaro has the same **** with out the roller rockers and that thing whooped the camaros *** from the get i mean it wasnt evan close i really like the body style of the camaros and after im done with the 350 im sure ill win but come on the 305 is a weak motor i mean damn the 4.3 has more power so im not her to talk smack or anything im just statein fact and to any1 that thinks there stock 305 is a beast has never drove anything that had some power drive a new firebird or camaro and then drive your 305 then tell me how bad azz it isnt

stock 305s suck, yup! That's why I've done a little work to mine but it's still slow lol.. A 350 is in the works along with a tranny swap. Just got a TH400 yesterday along with a new shifter :rockon: I've driven my friends '68 firebird (500+ hp) and damn it was fun. That's what really got me started on the whole swap

 

hehe seeing the mustangs taillights fade was enough for me cant wait till the shoes on the other foot

 

Try using punctuation in the future, please. One thing that'll make a big difference is rear gearing. Whats his, whats yours? if he has 3.55s and you have 2.73s, its going to take a whole lotta power to take him down.
