Speeding Tickets
Ive only had one ticket, 42 in a 30, but Ive been pulled over about 5 times, all for stupid stuff, none for speeding, well, ok, one for speeding. it was kinda funny, the first time I was pulled over, I worked at sonic and it was about 1:00 in the morning. I was leaving work, had to take a friend home. well, we jump in my car, and he says, hey, do a burnout, so Im like, alright. well, right next to the sonic was a gas station, and as Im pulling out I look over and see about 4 city cops standing beside their cars talking. so Im driving by, just knowing that they are trying to decide who wants to go get me. well, sure enough, about 10 seconds later, a cop comes tearing out of the parking lot chasing after me. I pull over, give him the liscense and registration, and he asks why I felt it necessary to squeel my tires. heres the good part, I tell him I had just gotten my car and only been driving it for a few weeks, it was my first manual and I was used to driving an automatic, and that I let the clutch out too fast. I know he was trying to decide if I was telling the truth or not, which I wasnt, I knew exactly how to drive my car. sure enough, he let me go, saying, "you better learn how to drive that car a lot faster than that." not a problem officer

2 speeding, 2 no front plate, 1 parking. None are on my record.
Speeding 56 in a 45 and 61 in a 45. Both in the RS, pre-radar detector days. The first was no excuse, I was plain old speeding. The second, I was passing my friend in front of me who I thought slowed down to 40 in a 45 just to tick me off. I blew by her, got in front of her, only to see the light bar in the back window of the undercover cop in front of me. Turns out its one equipped with always on 360* radar. He got over, slowed up til I passed him, then put his lights on. Both are off my record thanks to 12 hours of traffic school.
No front plate: 12/26 and 12/27 in my work parking lot. Same cop both days. I told him I didn't have a bracket, he said its not his problem. I got smart and said "Well do you want me to put it in my window so you can write me up for improper display? Or duct tape it on so you can gimme a ticket cause it could fall off and cause a crash?" and then said "Why are you guys harassing me and just driving around the lot picking on cars when theres people out there driving drunk with no license and no insurace? If I hit someone and I don't have a front plate, it won't matter as much as if someone is drunk and they hit someone and they don't have insurance or a license" I took it to court, both are gone.
Parking- A friend worked at a place across from school and she said I could park there for school. So I did, and got a ticket after 2 weeks for "parking on private property without permission" even though I had permission. I asked her boss if any cop came in asking if I was allowed to park. He didn't even ask. So that got tossed in court too.
