91' Z28 Vs. Impala SS
Has anyone went head to head with this car? The numbers I've seen are not too bad. I think they came with an LT1 or a form of. rating 260 hp. Most of the caprice/impala rides around here are pimped out.....ya' know big dual pipes out the back, 20" rims, curb feelers. I drove a used 96' Impala and I wasn't impressed. maybe it was just that one car. Well, I'm running 290hp with the mods I have. Let me Know.
If it's the mid '90's Impala SS, then it's powered by an LT1. All are auto and most run low to mid 15's stock. Not bad for a full size family car. You should kill it anyways!!!

I've had an experience...
I was on a 4 lane highway with a big grass median once and I was having some fun in the LTD. The big 80s cadillac coupe deville was trying to give me a run and I was totally killing his 4.1. But I wasn't paying attention to the car in the background moving in like an eagle. I had just walked from the Caddy again and this 90s caprice floored it and tho I didn'y completely floor it, I can tell you it wasn't slow. Of course, I guess it depends on your point of view.
His engine was stock, I guess, letting out a loud, sharp hiss at high rpm that could damage your ears.
Altho, considering my car, he wasn't passing fast enuf.
