Car begins its spring make-over!

Hey all

Just started to do my make-overs that ive been talking about for the past months... many things have changed.
2 days ago for 4 hours I worked with my buddy putting on a new fender that I picked up from the junkyard (its in MINT condition) and some chorme valve covers for $40. So we tried to replace this freakin fender on for 4 hours.. problem after problem..
The dude who owned the car before me.. did some real crappy work. Ill show your pictures of the fender I ripped off. Its seriously the bondo master, And the rust queen of fenders. Also after we got the front end off... all my side gfx screws were so badly rusted I managed to get off only 2 of the 4 I think It was 4.. and my gfx kinda snapped.. but nothing ot serious that I cant fix right now. But by the time we got to the part of taking off the old fender to replace it, the guy welded a screw and 4 sheets of metal to the frame of the car. So we were standing there for 40 min. pulling and twisting the old fender until it broke off at the perfect spot. The new fender came on nice and smooth and SOLID!.. All the screws went in perfect. I got new screws today.. stuck on the wheel well and everything is great. Got new side marker light, becuase it was so badly burnt for some reason. But im telling you.. replacing a fender on a Camaro is HARD HARD WORK! Now im going to start some minor body work, or ill just go buy a new door from the junkyard. Than all ill have to worry about is the back end of my car. Pretty much making my car.. RUST FREE!, ill take some spray cans and spray underneeth the car to make it look new agian. (is this a good idea?)
I also cleaned my front signal lights, and my new valve covers arent the same as my old ones so thats no good.
haha,
take care people..
ill post pics soon

Sounds like some fun work... how are you going to fix the rear quarter panels?
