please help me with my horn

Hi..

I've posted this elsewhere .. but posts fly through the general tech section so fast. Anyway my horn is toast. I've checked the fuses and all is well there. I press the horn and all I get is a faint click. I heard something about rinpping my steering wheel apart and checking to see if its still hooked up.. is that what I need to do.. and if so how do I go about that..

thanks..

I'm not sure if the TA is the same as my IROC, but you just unplug the battery and then take the horn cap off. It should just pull straight off. But most likely it is the actual horn itself which I believe is hidden inside the front fender. Because it's tucked away, it's very suseptable to dirt and moisture build up so it may have to be replaced.

Depending on which side it is, you might have to remove the battery or the vapour canister. Shouldn't be too bad as long as you don't have king kong size hands. It won't be that hard.
