Here are some crude directions once you get to Parkhill:

the meeting place is the "Scenic Lookout" just outside of Parkhill. as you are leaving Parkhill on Main Street (which is Hwy 81), towards Grand Bend, the Scenic Lookout is just outside of town, on the right side of the road. It is before the parkhill damn, so if you hit the damn, turn around.

After the meet, we will all take Hwy 81 past the motorplex and roll into GB!

 

That is one sharp looking map. unfortunately i wont be able to attend our 2:00 pm meeting. but i plan to be in Grand Bend by 6:30, so if anyone is still planning to be there, let me know and i will meet up with you guys. i drive a silver 84 Trans Am...so iff anybody sees me in the bend....flag me down.

 

Just blow off work early man! They'll understand... it's May two-four @ GB!

 

Jason, you are in the bend all weekend right? what are your plans for friday, saturday, and sunday night? i know of a good party friday night. saturday my friends will likely be hitting the bars in GB. you are welcome to come along either night. are you going to the concert on sunday night?

 

I'll be at the Motorplex all week-end long. I'm heading out right after work tomorrow to set up the site. I don't think there will be much going on tommorrow night, so the party could be cool... especially if the wether is bad. I'll definitely catch you at some point this week-end.

I'll be at the concert... even though the bands blow. I usually go for about 15 mins, then go back to the site because the bands blow.

 

i should still be there at 6 30.

but i am consured about the rain

do we have a rain date as a back up?
i am sure some people will be scared off by the rain. and will not be comeing out

 

The forecast I saw said "cloudy" for all three days.... there was no mention of rain, but still not the best weather.

This is only the first event. The next one is tentatively planned for a roadtrack in the GTA this summer.

the car club that i am a member of is haveing a car show June 16 in Kitchener. it would have made for a good back up date. the show is open to all cars and only cost $5 to enter.(all of it going to Childerens wish). it would have been cool to see all the third gen out there.

 

yeah Jason, the party is outside of Parkhill. its on Parkhill Drive. Parkhill Drive is the first road just as you are leaving town (befpre the scenic lookout and on the otherside of the road) and you can only turn left on to it. the place is about 5-7 mins down the road (or less depending on how you drive). i dont know the 911 number on the place, but its on the right hand side of the road. i dont know if i will see you before friday night, but i will park my TA on the side of the road by the place, so you know which house it is should you and your buddies want to come. the party is in a drive shed and my friend Matt's place (he was one of the guys at sparta with me). you guys are welcome to come. i dont believe there are any kegs this time, so bring your own beer. i should be there from about 7:30 or 8:00pm till likely 2am. anyway we will have to meet up some time this weekend for sure.

 

Hey Brad, I will probably be around. I want to take my boys to the Motorplex to see some races. Just out of curiousity, what does it cost as a spectator?
Maybe we set up a time as to when to meet up, say at the Motorplex or Jason's site, or where-ever.

 

i'm out. The weather is just going to be too unpredictable for a 4 hour trip. I'll have to make some other gathering.

 

If the weather is going to be sh!tty then do not expect me at 2pm. From Barrie I too am looking at a four drive one way.

 

Kevs87TA, i am not sure how much admission to the strip is. yeah i could meet up with you guys there if you like or in the bend (that would be better)
