Ok im used to driving a 86 2.8l fiero gt , exacley how good on gas is the 350tpi? i do highway trips to hamilton alote , and some local cruisng what can i expect im 18 and have a full time job, is insurance crazy? this will be a full daily driver

 

insurance likely wont be too nice. shop around. if your parents are willing to put the car in one of their names and let you be an occasional driver that will help the cost alot. however, they may not want to because if you get into an accident or whatever it can effect their rates.

as for gas miliage. well you have TPI, so that will help, but you have to pay for performance and i am sure you will notice your gas bills go up. however, with the overdrive transmission, it wont be to bad on the highway.

Frankly, if it's a stock GTA and it's healthy, it will get better mileage than your Fiero.
