how did you guys do at St. Thomas last Saturday ?

I was up in the Muskokas fighting off humungous black flies and gunked up with sun tan lotion plus bug spray environmentally speaking I think I was a walking hazard... I still itch two days later...

Worst of all I missed another day at the track !!! So how did you who made it do for times and speeds (besides Paul -- gotta get that carb fixed !) ? How many cars showed up ?

Oh yeah when is our next day at the track ?

thx,
RP.

I talked to my friend at work who ran with the imports in the afternoon and he said that their times were a couple of seconds off also and that it was just a $hit day for racing. one of the tfbm guys woked out the altitude we ran at because of the humidity and it was over 9000ft so the air was not dense and my car ran rich on me. Now I know for next time.

From the board it was just me and Irocker (Chris) and he had a worse day than me.

I know full well the effects of humidity performance wise. I also know how much it hurts mileage wise too thanks to this week. I barely got 350 city OR highway km on the hot consecutive humid days. Whereas in winter on winter formulation no less I can pull 450 city and almost 600 km highway.

Yup...my day at the track was total crap...I ran really slow my first two runs...then I damaged my hood (don't ask) which wrecked the rest of my day. So I did one more run after putting the stock chip back in, got a little better time but still not acceptable. So I threw in the towel at that point. Not a happy camper!
