Hello everyone !

Hi everyone I'm a new member to the board, however I have been reading everyone's posts for a few months now. Just haven't had a reason to post i suppose.

The reason that I have posted was that I was wondering if anyone on these boards have heard of or been on www.driverfx.ca because I just stumbled upon it today and was wondering if anybody had any feedback on it. There was a link at canadiantire's web site.

Oh yes before I'm asked I have an
85 IROC Z T-Top
Black with gold accents
305 LG4 engine
5 speed
Needs bodywork and interior work
slowly working on engine mods first.

Welcome Corbi. Just took a look at that site now. Looks Ok I guess, but probably another Keystone affiliate. Which means higher prices than the little guy shops around.

Don't you mean Who needs a Haynes book when someone on the board has one, and can answer questions about codes
Welome to the board, Corbi.
Rochead's right, if you have any questions, there is enough knowledge on this board, that someome will have an answer for you.
BTW, you will have to post some pics of your car. A work in progress is always cool to see. We like to see how it all works out.

Welcome to the board!

If you are seeking advice, here's a hint: Just because someone has a high post count doesn't mean they are an expert **COUGH Mark COUGH A. Shields** J/K

Thirdgen.org is an excellent resource, but don't let it be your only one.

Thanks, guys.

I'm in Wikwemikong on Manitoulin Island which is on the east end of the island.

I will try and snap some photos as soon as I can and post them.

BTW for those who do not know Manitoulin Island is about 2 hours west of Sudbury and about 5.5 hours north of Toronto.

I would say a good amount of people know a thing or two... take things always with a grain of salt and not a single person has the definite say on what is the right thing or the wrong thing. If you're told its etched in stone, would you believe it? This is all about advice, from some experience of people and some schooling of others.

A message to the old timers on the board:

Please don't bash the uninititated. They may have some facts wrong, so just kindly correct them, state why its wrong and be nice about it.

am glancing at Ron Jeremy in particular overthere....

The best way to learn, is not the Haynes, its the push to replace and/or how deep your wallet is to get some performance. i do everything my self, (except tranny) i love to work on cars so its fun to me. and has been fun (at times). Good luck and let the blood flow from your knuckles. (just changed the spark plugs hehehe)
