Mapleview Update...

I'm looking out the window of my office right now and the sky's ou towards Burlington are lookin' pretty dark. The weather "so called" experts are saying 40% chance of t-storms for this afternoon and clear skies tonight. So here's where I sit...if it's still looking dark towards the west at 3:00, then I won't be getting the early train home to Hamilton, I just get my regular train home. And if it's still not raining at 5:30, then I'll go to the show, but I don't think I'll bring the IROC out tonight unless it's bright and shiny and sunny.

So, I know Nathan, if it looks at all like chance of rain, then I know he won't bring the GTA out. But if people just wanna meet for coffee at the Tim's down the road as an alternative to show then let me know. The g/f is gone out tonight so I need to find something to occupy myself with

Well, looks like the weather people may actually be right for once *knock on wood* It looks like it's clearing up, so perhaps I will indeed get to bring out the IROC tonight.

I was born in Windsor.

I have family there... my uncle owns a company that makes mouldings for cars there.

You may have heard of my cousins... infamous little buggers... 2 sets of twins born in the same year...

First pair: February 2nd 1988 Boy and Girl, twins
Second pair: December 31 1988 and Girl Girl, twins

Weird oddities, my car is an 88 too lol

Took all 4 for ice cream once... was real weird 4 88 born kids in an 88 car lmao....

I will be at the drive-in again Saturday... IT IS STILL ON!!!! I will definately be seeing "Master of Diguise"

easySpeed, it would be awesome if you could make the trip down... be nice to hang with some F-Body guys down here in Niagara

Warning though... its dusty due to stone exit roads. LAst week I was good, because I was the first one out of the drive-in Now the whole exit road isn't stone, just the ones coming out of the screen area. Dust won't hurt, just go to a coin wash after and rinse her off with some high pressure soap, then high pressure wax, then a rinse.. then use the chamoise... I use this method to wash my car a lot, because my car is usually just dusty.

I will put up another post regarding the drive-in

I need to buy a chamoise. I keep using these clothes from the glass station that cost $5 each. They're orange and soak everything up, and I just ring em out.

I bought a sheep skin long time ago for my old car. I didn't like it. there's some cloth for 15 bucks at canadian tire that is a rubbery material, gonna buy it this week.

Buy "The Absorber", they have them at Parts Source for 30bux... only chamoise you'll have to buy, and it rocks!!! doesn't come apart and leave ****e all over your car. And it absorbs very good. Comes in a little tube case too, so it stays damp all the time... trust me on this one.. you will thank me

Oh... and while your there, get "The Original California Car Duster" comes in hand for car shows and stuff. Dust your car off with the duster, then spray it down with some quick detailer, and it looks like you just finished waxing it
