Yeah - I'm going to get that and maybe their adjustable LCAs which are about the same price as Spohns.
If I'm not mistaken the BMR LCAs are chrome molly as opposed to the Spohns at the same price which are light steel.
If went the global west route I'd probably still be talking about doing it this time next year. That and the fact that the car will spend most of its time on the road and the roads around Toronto are real bad.
This stuff won't be installed for a while because I need a tranny right now but the price on the lowering kit may not last long.
Thanx for putting me on to that Thunder Racing stuff.

No problem. I think that price for the kit is permanent cause they sell it altogether... bulk kind of thing like when you spend a certain amount of cash on an online store you get a discount type thing. Not sure though. Its definately worth asking. What are you going with for a tranny? t56?

The tranny/motor situation is a bit of a balancing act right now.
What I want is a GM 330/350 crate and a Tremec T56 with Lakefield scattersheild and so on. For the sake of discussion that's about $10K CDN.
What I have is a solid 83TA, J65 with a tired LG4 and a dead 200C. Also has Hedmans and Hooker cat-back but they're doing much right now.
Problem is the two piece rear main on the LG4 means that any new tranny motor combination should all go in at once to be cost effective and right now I don't think I can drop that much coin into the car although I'll know better by about Jan/Feb.
I have a tranny shop that will install a rebuilt TH350 for $1,500. That might be a good short term solution which would allow me to get the 350 crate in there first and if I do the T56 later I won't be out all that much. ie if I was to put a T56 in now with the LG4 I'd need a new flywheel and then I'd be looking for another new flywheel when I get 350 because of the different bolt pattern.
Anyway it's late and I'm not sure if this is making sense.

Makes perfect sense to me. A t56 with a lg4 would be odd to say the least
. I would just go with a t56 instead of a th350. You can find a t56 for 1500 if you look around for awhile in the right spots. A th350 will also rev the hell out of your motor on the highway and is probably designed for major power applications (overkill). I dont think you would ever regret going with the t56, expecially is you start to get into autox and lapping.
