Maf

Hate to bring this up again...but does anyone have the part numbers for the 2 relays? or can i just tell the parts guy the MAF power and MAF burn-off relays is what i need? I tried another MAF from another car and the same thing is going on.
Hard cold start. So I put my old one back in and gave back the MAF I tried.
Also once i get the new relays can someone tell me how to replace them?
Thanks

Just tell the guy what you need...they should be two different part numbers. The burn-off and FP relay are the same p/n though.

Replacing them take about 5 minutes or less...probably takes more time to get out your socket set then it does to remove the part. Once you get the new parts in hand you should be able to figure it out...two screws hold each relay in...they are on the driver's side of the firewall...and the wiring harness simply clicks in.

Swapping the Fuel Pump relay and MAF Relay will diagnose your problem, instead of going on a guess... thats what I did, and when I did that, the car ran fine, so I bought the new relay

The relay on my car didn't go dead completely.. it was just weak, so it worked enough to run the fuel pump

They are the same relay.. onw plug is grey, and one is black.. they are in a bunch of 3... the one in the middle is different, so you want to switch around the outside 2...

Even if the MAF relay is toast completely... you will know if the car doesn't start, because your fuel pump will be out of service due to the bad relay
