Cam Issues

I'm trying to find a cam for my 327 project. I will be fuel injecting this engine, probably TBI for the moment and then some sort of ram setup later. Everybody says that it should have 112 lsa or 114 lsa cause it's more friendly to the computer. I always hear about LT1 and LT4 cams but most people are talkin about 305 or 350 setups. I need a cam that can go to 6000 rpm. I'm not really sure what is good as far as duration and lift are concerned. Can someone give a suggestion on a cam as a good starting point, so that I can get some numbers.

Thanks

You have to tell us more about the engine/car to make a suggestion..or just get the strip/street cam and jack it up like a ...

Need More

Need more info....okay, the car is a 1992 RS:

beefed up 4L60 E for the transmission
2800 to 3200 stall converter
3.73 gears in the back
15" rims with 225/60/R15 front tires, 245/60/R15 back tires

exhaust is 1 5/8 headers, maybe 1 3/4 (money)
custom 3" piping all the way back, no cat, no smog pump
Flowmaster exhaust for now, I want Borla.

The engine itself is a 1968 Chev 327
large journal
2 bolt main
bored .030 over
the crank is ground .010-.010
TRW Hyperutectic Pistons
new rods, bearings, seals, pins, frost plugs, rings, ect.
Double roller timing set
Hi-perf oil pump & drive shaft
windage tray and main stud set
the heads are 2.02/1.6 valves
3 angle grind on the valves
machined for guideplates, screw in studs, larger springs
ported and polished
straight plugs
1.5 roller rockers
dual springs

for air fuel, right now I'll adjust the TBI to a 670 unit, get a AFPR, new fuel pump and fuel lines. I hope to get a ram set up sooner than later, Miniram or Stealthram, but I'll need a new ecm, wiring, and the rest that goes with that swap.

the cam in the engine now is 220/231@.050, 468/480 lift, 110 lsa
that's why I asked about a cam, cause the 110 lsa on the cam is not going to work well with the computer, could I do some chip work to help with the cam, I don't know thats why I asked.
I live outside of town so it'll see much open highway, hopefully I can wind it up. Being high rpm and highway driving, I'm hoping the the fi will keep the gas mileage reasonable, but I'm not worried too much.

What compression??I assume that it has a stock GM head because of the low lift..I think that cam is good for it as long as you have between 9:1 -10:1 compression..It will be a dog with the TBI since the long block starts to make power around 4500 which is where the TBI/intake dies..IMO..Also the ideal car weight foir this kind of combo should be around 3000lbs

to add:..the 110LSA will give your computer fits..I doubt that its gonna work right at all without EXTENSIVE porgramming

A 4barrel would be perfect for it though
