Fix for cracked Console insert

Had a little time on my hands so made this up to repair the cracked console that used to be in my car. Now I will probably break the plastic piece it bolts to.

Looks like I could do with a new shifter boot.

I like the swirled look. Reminds me of a 2nd gen Firebird's dash. Nice!

Yeah I guess it is a little retro. Don't know if it will look out of place or not.

I was going to do the same thing with aluminum traction plate . Then decided against it.

You think it looks good now?

Wait until you're driving down the highway and sunlight reflects off it and straight in your eyes.

Don't say you weren't warned...

I Really hope it does sparkle that much in actuall sunlight. It doesn't look as bright as it does in the picture in real life though. I think the flash from the camera made it sparkle.

Oh yeah "Aviators" are standard issue when driving a thirdgen so glare should not be an issue.

What year car is that going in?
Do you suppose something like that would fit a '89 'Bird?

Wanna make me one? Throw me a price! Seriously.

IT is going into an 87 RS but we may be switching to a 4th gen console down the road at that point it will be available.
