Had a little time on my hands so made this up to repair the cracked console that used to be in my car. Now I will probably break the plastic piece it bolts to.



Looks like I could do with a new shifter boot.

looks good, i think it would be better if it was just a sheet of polished aluminum!

 

I like the swirled look. Reminds me of a 2nd gen Firebird's dash. Nice!

 

Yeah I guess it is a little retro. Don't know if it will look out of place or not.

I was going to do the same thing with aluminum traction plate . Then decided against it.

I Really hope it does sparkle that much in actuall sunlight. It doesn't look as bright as it does in the picture in real life though. I think the flash from the camera made it sparkle.

Oh yeah "Aviators" are standard issue when driving a thirdgen so glare should not be an issue.

IT is going into an 87 RS but we may be switching to a 4th gen console down the road at that point it will be available.
