15th camaro nationals?
just wondering who here was planning on attending?
just trying to get an idea of wether it's worth checking out or not. it looks like our camaro superfest held over here in ann arbor with the exception of niagra falls which i've always wanted to see.

don't they have a drivers class for those of you who just want to show up for one day?
the show looks like fun and from last few years of pictures they definately have some nice cars but for as many of you that are here i figured more would be interested in attending more than just checking it out.

so that brings the numbers down
others, well...they are like me (except i have a TA)...their cars arent show worthy.

I am not entering to win, just to have fun. a car shouldn't have to be "show worthy" to enter; if you like your car and enjoy sharing it with others then you should do so. i would have to trailer mine just because of the distance but mine is driven as much as possible as well. only reason i even enter shows for trophies or competition is for fun anyway.
either way, the more the better; hopefully i'll be able to make it and meet some of you!

i'm trying to make sure i can get work off so i'm holding out, but i want to be sure i can get a room if i can go.

Hotel must be booked by May 1st,
Any bookings after that will NOT qualify for the reduced rate.
I have confirmed that bookings are ahead of last year so don't delay.
Rooms ran out last year.
The Camaro Club is also conducting 3 cash awards of $100, $50 & $20 to those pre-booked by May1st.
When booking, ensure the you mention that you are joining the OCC event for the special rate.
Lastly, you can cancel the room reservation up to 3 days prior to the date.
Perhaps it would be better to book a room now and cancel if you cannot attend.
I will encourage anyone who wants to dispose of a room just prior to the event to "post" here in order to give another board member a chance to stay there. You would only need to obtain the confirmation number to do a switch between persons.
No other hotels are in the vicinity.
Hotel # is 1-877-848-3782 or local ...(905) 984-8484

P.S. Anyone awaiting pre-registered confirmations to the show should not expect them until after the 1st week of May. We discovered that they get lost if sent out too early.
I hope to see you all there as I will be working the registration desk at the main tent.

Guys:
Not sure of exact cruise time at Seaway, but I recall departing last year at 5:30 Friday from the hotel (10 min drive) and by 6pm the cruise was well under way. The Camaro Club will have 50+ spaces reserved (as last year) for our arrival so all the cars can park together.
Sorry no Paypal. Gotta use snail mail for this. Still time left.
