I went to the track today and unfortunately still have traction issues. Had a few good runs, best being 2.02-- 13.86-- 98 mph. I am still not able to get out of the hole without rolling into the throttle.
A few were complaing about traction issues and as usual there was a problem with their timing system. Had to go up to the tower to get time slips.
I met up with a few from Kitchener (KWF) and they were all cool. Nice to put more faces to names.

When do you think you are going to be heading to the track again, I would like to go soon, see what the camaro is running.

I dont know exactly where the strip is at in st.thomas, so i would like to go with someone that knows the way, I have a couple other buddies with cars that would like to go as well.
How much does it cost for a night of Test and tune??
And what day do you usually go? is it on friday like grand bend?

It was cool meeting you too Bob... overall we had a good day... some new personal bests... Tracey picked up a whole second from the intake and crab we put on Still a little tuning to go there too

Anyways, aside from the timing system frustrations and the strong headwind, it wasn't a bad day of racing...

I think the next time we're going there is june 1st.

Brad, takes me 1 hour 45 min from essex. That's driving about 115km/h. I'll let you know when I go again and we'll caravan up.
I usually go on a Sat or Sun T&T, its $30 to race.
I don't think I would do a Fri night there. Traction would be non-existant.

I have a friend with a 97 Z28 that we just built a 9 inch for and put it in a couple weeks ago. He got tired of blowing up 10 bolts. Now he wants to test it out to see what he can do with slicks on the car. the thing ran 13.67 last year on street tires with traction issues and a 2.1 60'

What do you run for tires at the track???
and any suspension mods??

Right now I'm running Nitto Drag Radials. I am having trouble hooking with them though. Best 60 ft this year has been a 2.02. I plan on having a pair of slicks on the next time I go.

Rear suspension upgrades-- new springs, shocks, lower control arms and lca relocation brackets.

I was looking at the st.thomas schedule for the weekend of the 31st and it looks like there is a toronto F-body shoot out scheduled as well as test and tune on the saturday. That might be fun, get to race the car as well as see some others.
