specialty carbs GTA
just wondering if anyone has gone to them to have anything done. i called up one day to check on re-jetting etc... they said they would flow test and get the best performance out of the q-jet possible (750 cfm) ($50)which he told me on the phone. i was wondering if anyone has gone to them for anywork and how are they.

oh i may add im not too technically inclinded, sure i know a fair amount about stereo systems and a lil bit on body work but thats about it technical i know like the major parts thats about it...and well i don't trust myself enough yet to rejet a carb or what exactly is needed. plus im at school most of the time and well its a daily driver (my car to get to and from school). so i don't have the time to do so.
Curtis.....can i ask you why you think it needs to be re-jetted?
Most of the time when people think they have a carb problem, it tends to be an ignition related problem (timing, timing curve, etc)

I always get my parts from these guys.Very cheap and very professional. The people there are not into high performance or modifications though. I think they would just change hangars then re-adjust the mixture.
