Anyone in the Ottawa lend a guy a hand?
I need some healp reassembling my Lg4. I am in way deep!
In the Spring/Summer of grade 12 I rebuilt the Carb, installed a Griffin Rad, B&M tranny cooler, EPS intake. Well I stupidly just left it partially rebuilt with the cab just bolted to the intake and went to University. Now it is 2 years later, and all I did was some body work when I was back home. And now that most, if not all the bodywork is done, I need it rolling.
Anyway, now I cant remember where the rotor was oriented, how to adjust the TV cable, which bolts went where... really stupid stuff. Stuff I am sure someone who is fairly competant with an LG4 or any carb motor could do without even thinking about it! Not to mention carb tuning, uhg.
I am just in way over my head! Any help would be soooooooo appreciated. Otherwise me and the manual will be spending alot of time together.

Get TDC and point the rotor to the number plug wire/cap.Turn the crank until the timing mark on the crank is right before the 0 mark(cause of the advance).

TV cable
Look for the metal button (its perpendicular to the bracket/usually semi-circular plastic housing)..lol I wish I have a picture..lol.. push the tab where the cable comes out in towards the driver while pushing the metal tab.Go inside the car and floor the gas pedal. You should hear the click as it adjusts itself. If it shifts too early then press the metal tab and loosen the cable.

Make sure you get the TV cable right before driving the car too hard for too long. That cable controls the line pressures and shift points, its pretty east to fry a trans if its too loose. I almost did it in a few days.
Follow what Daz said, its pretty friggin easy.

That would be awesome. Gonna tie up the loose end in the body work, and install some stuff I have been neglecting. Be a few day, anytime after I would totally appreciate the visit.
