New to the F-Bodies..

Hi Everyone

As the title implies I have just obtained from my extended family a 1991 Pontiac Trans Am in need of some work.

I just want to introduce myself to this board.

Well the work I know of it needs is at least one front fender (passenger) as well as passenger rear 1/4 panel. Possibly one floor pan.

Mechanically it has a possible flooding issue (low idle = stall), drivers headlight needs the gear fixed, and the hood sometimes refuses to release. Their suggestion to open the hood was to pop the hood, driver it for a few minutes and then open it.

I'll have more details after the weather gets better and I can take a good look at it.

i had the same hood problem on my old 85 before i sold it.It took me pulling on the hood release while my dad or somebody would have to pull up on the hood to get it to pop.it was a rediculous procedure.

Hopefully you get all the problems sorted out

Welcome to the board. Good luck on your newly acquired ride. Any questions, just ask away or search the forums. More than likely, someone will have asked the same questions....lol
