Actually, guns and thirdgens are a pretty common combination in my experience.

Eric, cool site, I'll have to check it out a bit more.

I had a nice .177 BSA with a good sized scope on it - very accurate and lots of power.

BSA makes some nice units. They seem to only make higher-powered airguns these days- meaning those of us in Canada need a firearms license to have one. They manufacture tons of sights/scopes that are available everywhere- also generally top-notch stuff.

Eric,

I see that the response sent to my email of "Thanks for the opinion there Bill- but until I see the title "Moderator" under your name I really don't need to hear it" s different than the one displayed above.

I don't need to be a moderator to post my thoughts on a subject. However, you need to be tolerent of other peoples opinion.

Don't worry. I have big shoulders and can whatever anyone says to me. If you are going to say something say it for all to read. Then be prepared for different points of view to be expressed back.

If you can't handle someone's different point of view or comment then don't post things.

True, but posting the content of emails or PMs is a different matter.

Why exactly is that Bill? Wanna take 5 seconds and tell us everything you know about anything.

Actually, why don't you take 10 seconds, that should be enough to cover it all.

Well Bill- you're the one with your "Email Responses to Posts" option turned on. Which, seeing as how this is opinion-offering time, is really damn stupid because it doesn't email you the edits to posts. If you were to post a technical question for which you really have no knowledge, someone responds with something totally wrong, they realize it and then edit it, nobody else sees the incorrect response but you in your email, so no one can tell you it was dead-wrong, and off you go and FUBAR up something on your car.

Maybe once you've been around for a bit longer than 3 months I'll actually take your opinion as having some merit- but you have yet to prove you have any knowledge or experiences worth hearing about. The only opinions that matter if this topic should stay or go are the Moderators of this forum- whom I suspect you couldn't name offhand without looking it up.

I might suggest in the future you reserve your opinion when it's not requested.

Beyond that, I have nothing further to say to you and will not respond to any more of your posts.

Ooooogh...................touchy aren't we.

Where to begin.......

George the site is thridgen. org remember? Not fbodies and guns. Look at the original title "Don't know if this is the right place"...well its not. That's my opinion. Don't make this personal simply because my opinion differs from yours.....just remember...tolerance...that's why I came to this country.

AND......if you do want to talk guns......anytime.....I am ex military special inteligence....I can talk guns, weapons and tactics all day long but would rather forget all that and talk cars.....which is why I choose to be on this site.

Eric.............relax....it is only another persons opinion. No need to get hostile.....tolerence.....tolerence......play nice.

Have a nice day.
