this sucks so much.... i shoulda just put some money in my 85 Z28 instead of buying this GTA... she was so awesome last year.... but this year i drive it for a week and something breaks.... i`m really starting to get depressed i`m also scared something else is gonna be broke after i put injectors in... i knew i shoulda stayed away from a F.I car... i NEVER had this amount of trouble with my Z28... it had a good old 305 with a 5 speed and had a 4 bbl 650 holley on top... and my god did that car ever GO!!!..... but NO i had to own a GTA so now i have a 85 Z28 and a 90 GTA and can`t drive either of them.... i don`t even have my beater car because i scrapped it when i put the GTA on the road... i so just wanted to have my GTA for this weekend... but as hard as i looked i can`t find injectors around here.. so i gotta wait till at least thursday-fri b4 i get some ...... i`m so close ot selling this car .. but i know i`ll never get anything for it if it doesn`t run. and i have to much into it so i`m not gonna give it away either... i just hope i can fix it soon

 

It could be worse. I have already had 3 vats problems in my GTA frist time the car woudlnt even crank turns out that the wire in the key barrel was broke.So i change the whole steering column, plug in the new pass key box from a parts car the car turns over.so i go to start it up last week again car wont crank all the interior lights come on and everything so i just about ready to scrap this car. Then i rembered i still had a key barrel from my 89 T/A i scraped so plug in the new key barrel and the pass key box then it cranks.

 

Seems to me that with older cars, which all thirds are now, it's better to keep them simple as in pre 87 for no etest and carbed for no electronic BS.

Keep the faith............these things will happen. You just have to take a deep breath (and scream)...feel better? If not, just laugh at me. My car has sat in my garage for 6 years! I was looking forward to swapping engines and driving it this summer but it won't be on the road until 2008. Just stay strong.............
