Im trying to remove the ecm wiring harness but I noticed some components are meshed together, what comes off and what stays?
I plan on changing to carb, the ac control is sperated but the lighting is together with some of the ecm harness.
Another thing, how do I get the gromit of the wire harness out te fender way without cutting?

 

Easiest way to solve your problem is to get a carbed harness...it will save you time and frustration. I think someone is parting a carbed Camaro on the CCFBG forum. You have to pull the fender off (at least partly) to get the harness through. I don't think you can separate the harness from the grommet...not sure though. Pretty sure the wiring and grommet are all tied in together. Good luck!
