Axle/Gears: 9 bolt BW 3.45

Im looking into different B&M shifters, I dont think theres much offered to someone with a Trans Am GTA.
I think the only one for my car is the console shifter Item# 80692.
Has anyone on the forum installed a shifter without gutting the stock console to make it fit or even look right?
