Here we go again.
I'm looking for another 700R4.
It doesn't have to 3rd gen specific however I would like an 89 or newer model.
I do need it to be a functioning unit. It's destined for the daily driver so mods are not important.
Thanks.
I'll pick it up if it's within 2 or 3 hours from the GTA.

I've got one for $180, comes with Torque Converter, from a '91 GTA. Works fine, never had any problems.
I'm from napanee, about 2 - 2.5 hours from the GTA, depending on what side you are on of course.

Im in the scarborough area and I have one aswell from an 88 camaro with shift kit recently rebuilt.Was daily driven on a 305 tpi. Asking $200. The car was rusted beyond reasonable repair on the car so I parted it out.

[QUOTE=86White_T/A305;4205043]...from an 88 camaro QUOTE]
The 700R4 improved in the late 80's. I believe 89 is the cut off year.
If you can read the stamped identification number, I can look up and determine exactly what it was originally installed in.

Re: WTB: 700R4
Thanks however that's more transmission than I'm looking for for this project. It's just for my winter beater.
I'm specifying 89 or newer so I at least have a decent core to work with should the time come to beef it up.
