My Car Problems Finally Solved

Some of you may have read my posts on the problem I've had with my car since I put it on the road in the spring. In early August my car spent 2 days at a local mechanic. They went over the various components of the car and tested things like fuel pressure, compression etc. $300.00 later the mechanic told me the injectors were all bad.So I immediately called Gm to get a price on some injectors, ouch $200.00 each(thats $1600.00 plus tax boys and girls!) I was totally bummed. So I called some speed shops to get a price on some aftermarket injectors. The cheapest I could find were 500.00 plus tax for 8 Acell injectors. So after another post on this website a member gave me the web address of Cruzin Performance. They had an 8 pack of Acell injectors for 229.95 US. I had to call to confirm this price (Seemed too good to be true) and after I enquired about the price I found out that the Rochester Multec Injectors that my car came with were indeed Crap! Rich, the owner of Cruzin Performance (A really nice guy) explained to me that it was a matter of when not if they went bad. Rich was extremely pleasant to deal with, he claimed the injecrtors were only worth 129 Us saving me some GST money at the border. To make a long story short. the cheapest I could get these Acrell injectors in Canada was about 560 after tax. My total came to roughly $450 canadian with excahnge shipping and brokerage gst etc.Still cheaper to buy them in the US than in Canada. Anyway if any of my fellow countrytmen wish to purchase new injectors check out Cruzin Performance for some great prices and Excellent service http://www.cruzinperformance.com/

Does your car start up any better than before with the faulty injectors? I'm going to put new injectors in next spring because I suspect a few of mine are bad.

I never had a problem with the way the car starts. First time everytime. However I spoke too soon about my problem being fixed. Although the car doesn't cycle at idle or tug at speed anymore it idles badly now after warm up. It will stall periodically, especially if you stop and shift into reverse quickly like I almost always do to park it.Whats that sound? Cha ching more money commin outta my pocket. Well I don't think I'll fix it till spring, give my bank account time to recouperate. My neighbour who is a mechanic thinks it might be the ignition module. What do you guys think?
