just wanted to say hello

for the new guy on the block i just would like to say hello to you all.im sure glad i came across this board. as for who am i well im 30 years old and build cars for a living at a japanese plant in canada(toyota). cars that ive owned in the past are the following.82 z28,85 z28,82 trans am,84 trans am . my current ride is a 79 bandit trans am but am becoming bored of it very quickly as i prefer the third gen much better. if someone was to ask me the best third gen cars i prefer the birds a bit more over the camaro's but there both great cars either way.my friends ask me why i dont get a vette or something with the job i have and i always tell them cuz those cars are like high maintenance women.too expensive to keep going and if i have that kind of money tied into a car i wouldnt enjoy it much cuz it would be pamper to death.birds and camaro's you can stretch there legs and come home and not have to worry about turbo's cooling and such on those other cars.whats not to like.later Steve

hi paul. i was a welder for almost 5 years but just very recently they asked me if i want to drive forklift. i said sure. i enjoyed welding but the pace was killing me. its very fast there. they run the plant very lean.as a matter of fact i think they are the leanest plant in north america if i recall correctly.oh ya my spelling if bruttle and it shows. its no fluke i work in a warehouse and not at a desk.by they way thats a very impressive T/A you have. great color combo. you dont see that color combo of gold and black in that year very often any more.im currently looking into a 82 T/A and hope to land it soon.i love the looks of the ground effects kits they put on the 84-92 cars but i seem to be cursed and always smack the front end on bumps and such so im sticking to the 82-83 years with no ground effects this time.ill put some rims on it and it look cool. by the way do any of the members here goto the T/A nationals in dayton every year?? Steve
