Hey Irocker!

How did you make out getting your car down to the paintshop?

I ended up getting CAA to do it. I had an excuse already and everything...but they never even asked why I was towing it. They just sent out a flatbed and the tow truck followed me to the shop.

Now I just gotta wait for the guy to mask out the pattern for the flames so I can go out and approve it before he starts spraying the paint.

Any luck on finding some good f-body publications?

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm representing TFbM club...they'll be four other club member cars there as well, all fourth gens and equally as nice. Their website is www.tfbm.org It's not really an online club, it mainly an emailing list kinda thing. If you don't mind the extra emails and think you can handle it, they are a great bunch of guys. The discount at Golden Mile and Roy Foss are worth the cost of the membership alone. The events page should be updated within the next month or so for this years coming events.

I do plan on being in the Camaro Nationals in June as well. I'm hoping Steve Vidal's KillerZ won't be there this year...then I might actually have a shot at winning for 3rd Gen Custom (keeping fingers crossed).

Nathan: Are you a member? If so, I may be able to get your car into next year's PW show...I plan on being on next year's PW committee as well. From what I've seen on the web, your car looks like it would be definately show worthy.

The discount you get for GM parts is worth it alone...I've already saved over $300 so my membership has more than paid for itself for the next couple years.

If it's easier for you, you should be able to pay at the PW show...that's when I'll be paying mine. It will be going up a little from last year, but with good reason.

Yeah... the discount on parts doesn't matter for me, the local dealer gives me preferred customer discount all the time, and if not, I use my dads GM cars (even though he passed away) to get 20% off

With TFbM you get parts at cost plus 10-20% depending on the part. I recently bought $780 worth of stuff from them and with the discount it came to $460...I would say that's a bit more than 20%. But of course that's just one of the perks of the club. They've got a lot of great members and I've made a lot of friends through it.
