IROCKER wanted weather connector???

Hey IROCKER, was it you that was looking for a weather connector? Was it a 3 or 4 prong? I picked up one from a 3 prong MAP sensor.. think that'll work?

Yup, that was me...I found one though. Took a lot of searching but I got one at UAP. GM wanted $25...I don't think so. AC Delco wanted $30...I don't think so. Year One wanted $2.95, but with the shipping and exchange would have came to $25...I don't think so.

The problem with GM and Delco was they only sold the weatherpacks with the wires install. Year One sold just the plastic shell which is exactly what I needed but the shipping of $13USD killed that deal. So I found one at UAP for $15. I got fed up with looking so I took it.

Where did you get yours? Probably cheaper than what I paid too I bet.

I just grabbed the rubber seal piece from a MAP sensor, since it has the same plug... is that all you needed was the rubber piece?

Well, if thats it.... I got it for free, along with two fog light lenses and brackets The guys there usually give me odds and ends, cause I've made some big purchases (ie. two front ends for my ole cursed Grand AM.. had 3 accidents in one summer they come off my recors by the end of this year.. woooohooooo)

Damn...I moved too soon. All I needed was the shell...the part with the three hollow tubes and clippy thing. Oh well...at least you got your brackets for the fogs.

Yeah.. got em off a Sunturd, I unscrewed the brackets, and the whole foglight fell apart, they were rusted... LOL, oh well, at least I git the brackets and 2 lenses. Not very good fog lights for winter weather, they seem to corrode very easily
