Looking for a part.. please help
Hey all, found out why my power lumbar doesn't work... cause some dummy that worked on the car before I bought it didn't bolt the lumbar airt pump casing to the drivers seat, thus causing the plastic fiting (like a vaccuum fitting) to break.. tried gluing, just wasn't strong enough.... If anyone knows where I can find one of these boxes, working or not working, pleeeease let me know... thanx

It might be a common part used in other GM vehicles. Call a gm dealer to see what they charge and if its too much see if what other vehicles might use the same kind of part and then scour the junkyards. The high end pontiac Bonnevilles have the multi adjusting seats with Lumbar I believe and the local junkyard around here has quite a few of these cars. Good luck.
If the Bonneville is anything like my Olds 98 Touring Sedan, then the air pump is in the center console. I believe the unit has to come out of a car with the same style seats, with the controls on the side of the seat. I had a pair of simlar seats in my old Grand AM... so.. maybe I can find one in that.
