What turned out to be the problem with getting the plug back in the Rad???

I just kept turning the thing (normal tightening direction) and FINALLY the thread caught. Must have spent about 10 minutes turning that stupid thing and guess what ? The fan that I dismounted to get at the drain plug doesn't seem to want to work anymore.

Maybe it only works above certain temps ? The other one is working and I figure when one is on the other should be one too ??? Not sure.

i bet it is working fine they just turn on at different temp. its the passenger side right? if so it only come on when the AC is on or the temp is over 210 or somewhere in that range.
