Lots of people have been asking if the big block mid-engine Firebird that was here last year is going to attend this year. He just registered today so he will be here for Thirdgen Fest '11. I think anybody that was here last year will tell you that is reason enough to attend Thirdgen Fest '11. Hopefully, we'll see you here!!!

Yep, lots of people ask. When they find out we'll both be here they decide not to come.

 

Saw his car again at WoW.

But when you display the sign I made they'll come back.

I need to make one for me.

 

It's neat to hear people are asking. As mentioned above, I had the car at World of Wheels in early March (drove it there, fortunately the weather cooperated) as part of a group called "Cruise Night Challenge" - the cars in this group (only 5) were given free admission to show our cars with spectators to vote for their favorite. I didn't win the spectator vote but the ISCA professional judges gave me their "Master Builder Award" for the best local car not professionally built so I was pretty stoked.

Looks like everyone had a great time in spite of the weather. I intended to be there but right before I was ready to leave home, I looked at the weather radar, saw what was coming and wimped out.
