Re: xpndbl's 8th annual southside caravan
I have decided that I am going to make my triumphant return to Third Gen Fest after a 1 year hiatus. I will not be returning in a TPI car this year. I will be rolling in the Cobra this year. This is due to Camaro being engine less and other projects going on.
Steve, we should make sure Jim comes out from Detroit for this.

Definately trying to make this...just dont know if I want to attempt driving 7 hrs to get there with my turbo motor.....or have my buddy trailer it for me. Problem is, if he trailers he dont bring his thirdgen. If we drive, we cruise with the thirdgens
Also the opening night for our local big cruise in/show. Friday night. So if we do that, we leave early AM saturday and hope to get there or go Sat night and get there for sunday? Not sure.

and kevin....you can roll with me and save you a little coin for the entrance fee....besides it's boring in the suburban with no one else in there, I start talking to myself at stop signs then people look at me funny. Then see the thirdgen and figure it out

You don't happen to head south out of town on LaGrange Rd do you?
There's a small chance I'll be in Orland Park over that weekend and it would be a blast to hook up with a caravan.
That's a 600 mile drive for me but that's a short haul in comparison.

I've been to Denny's 2 or 3 times when I'm out that way.
I'm keeping the weekend circled on the calender.
I'll be watching these postings as Third Gen Fest gets closer.
Never been part of a tour before (as short is it might be).

The north caravan meets up at xpndbl's place and joins the southside caravan so depending on what group you meet up with it all leads to xpndbl's place
