Everyone has said their piece. Bustin' each other's ballz, is for lack of a better word, part of our car culture. That's okay. But the name calling is uncalled for.
Let's move on boys.

Re: Thirdgen Fest '13 Burnout Vids
With great power comes great responsibility. I was thrilled when he took the car for a run. This was my third year at Thirdgen Fest and it was nice to see Steve take it on the road. I was even more impressed by how he drove the car. This car was built for the strip. To go out on a back road and drop a hard run with people standing on both sides of the car is stupid. He took the responsible route and still showed me how quick his car is.
Year after year Steve has helped us 'younger’ crowd tune up our cars. I remember a couple years back Steve took a light, a screw driver, and a can of beer and tuned a kid’s car up in a matter of a few minutes. It went from barley being able to run to idling smooth as a baby’s bottom. The kid was so thrilled that someone would even bother to help and do it for free. This is what the show is about.
I don't know if I said something in person that pissed people off but I learned a long time ago to not knock anyone at that show for even having a 17 second car and doing a one wheel peel leaving because to all of us our cars are our babies and we put lots of hours and money into them.
I bet I had one of the slowest car there and would be lucky to run in the 17s and Steve knows it. But all I heard out of his mouth were good things. He even complemented my stock LO3.
Keep coming Steve and running the Southside Caravan.

Re: Thirdgen Fest '13 Burnout Vids
I have big respect for Steve #1 he knows his **** and anyone that says he doesn't or is making excuses is foolish for saying it. Burn out no burn out that was the most I have ever seen his car drive and it was a honor to see what he has accomplished over the years com to life. Who else can say they hand bent his headers.... Probably no one that was there.

there is no fashion police for your car at the show. Lots of people bring projects and works in progress to the event.
