Thirdgen nationals vs. fest

How is Thirdgen Nationals different than Thirdgen fest? I am going to Thirdgen fest for the first time this year since it is just south of Chicago and it looks just like a sweet very chill party/gathering.

Well, as far as I know. TGNats is not happening, I see no updates or scheduling information, nor did I see anything from last year.

TGF is definitely happening.
