305's and AFPR
i see on the tech articels that the 350 picked up 20 hp just adjusting the pressure..... will i get the same effect if i bump my pressure up to 50 psi?... is 50psi good for the injectors?.. should i clean the injectors to make sure there are no clogs in them?... i would love to get 20 hp just by pushing up the pressure.. if anyone has one they want to sell...please email me...i will look in the classifieds too.. thank you fellas!
dude, No.
Its not just about boosting the pressure to the roof.
Its about adjusting the pressure, through several back to back 1/4 mile runs or dyno pulls, to see what gives you the best performance.
And will you get 20hp from a AFPR on a stock engine ?
I don't think I even need to answer that.

Agreed, the AFPR is a tunning device. Though it's better to run stock injectors at higher pressure (better spray pattern) than larger injectors at lower pressure, within limits of course.
I've read that you can safely run at 55psi with our saturated style injectors. With mild mods your stock injectors can be tuned to handle increased air flow.
Rich at Cruzin Perfomance has a great injector reconditioning setup, including the cold start one. He charges $10/injector and will blue print them at $5/injector that needs to be replaced for the match up. I just sent off the set from my Vette to him today.
