one-mod HP gains
Just wondering if everyone could post their "one modification only" horsepower/torque gains for TPI motors, as verified by chassis or engine dynos? I'm curious to see what the single biggest power adder bolt on is.
For example....in the recent stealth ram thread, the following was posted:
Wow! I have to wonder, if this means that the stock L98 exhaust manifolds can support up to 240HP, at least? Making a better intake a "better" bolt on than say, SLP headers?

Here's the chassis dyno results!
Car is an automatic 1992 5.7L Camaro. Car is bone stock except cat back.
We added the stealthram and a Holley billet 58mm throttle body. That was the only changes. I don't think the throttle body makes much of a differenece at this power level.
This data is for 3rd gear RWHP on a dynojet.

I don't have any dyno pulls nor trap speeds on single mods but those are impressive numbers. From a dual cat setup no doubt.
I assume that was from replacing a stock TPI intake considering the drop in low end grunt.

If you ask me you're just opening a pandoras box of misinformation here. Results for mods will vary depending one what you have done already. I guess it'll be interesting to see if anything good shakes out though
edit....well i'd say the guy below me is a good one for this post, lol

A friend of mine has a completely stock 91 305 engine. Not even so much as an AFPR and he is getting 320 HP and 370 TQ at the rear wheels using a ProCharger. This is through stock 305 exhaust manifolds and dual cat Y pipe, and an Edlebrock catback.
