problem at start up cant drive car Help

Hey all i have a 89 iroc 350 tpi.I pulled off the plemiun to fix a sensor and it went great. Than i put it bace on and went to plug in the two lines on the pasanger side of the plemiun. I put the fuel one back on and thani was going to put the other one on and saw a big hose going noware. So i put the little one on the bottom of the plemiun and tried to start the car but it just dies.
SO here is the problem i dont know where the big hose goes. It comes out in dack of the spark plugs cap. and goes now where.SO if u all could think about this and try to help i would be greatfull. Thanks ABE

Also is there suppose to be a hose hooked up to the egr. It looks like there is a place to put one on top of it. Thanks
