Replacing Tv Cable?!?
Replacing Tv Cable?!?
The little plastic end thing (that attaches to the throttle lever) broke. Does someone know if you can get the plastic end piece or do I have to replace the whole cable?!? If so, how do I replace the cable? Is it hard? I really don't want to replace the whole thing if I don't have to.

Yes, there is a piece that will slip over the cable and then snap onto the throttle bracket stud. I'm not sure where you get them but a transmission shop should know, or try the auto parts places.
It looks the same only it has a slit cut into the round end that the cable slips through, then when it's snapped on it can't pull back out.
Don't drive it without that cable hooked up! Pressures will be too low and it will hurt the transmission.

Thanks...I just wish I knew where to get one. I might just end up getting the whole cable. And yes I know not to drive without it... I assuming it would probably never shift out of first.
